GENERAL CHARACTERISTIC:

FAMILY DOG — Miniature Smooths love spending time with their owners and will become a big part of the family. They cannot be left alone for long periods so are not suitable for those who work
all day.

TRAINING — Mini Smooths are intelligent but strong willed. If training and socialization are started early they should prevent bad habits forming. With persistence Mini Smooths can be trained to basic levels of obedience. However, if they really don’t want to do something, they won’t.

BARKING — they are a vocal breed. Train them as puppies to know when to be quiet to avoid them becoming persistent barkers. 

ACTIVITY LEVELS  — a Miniature Smooth will love curling up on your lap and being outside with you in equal measure. These dogs need mental stimulation and regular exercise, and will keep going for as long as you do. Owners should be careful not to over-exercise puppies.

ADAPTABLE — Mini Smooths can live in any size of house or fl at, and are comfortable in town or in the country.

GROOMING — Miniature Smooths are low maintenance; once a week to check them over and give them a brush is fine.
