- Chow Chow's are one of the most distinctive dog that you will ever see. They have the looks of a Bear and a Lion in a dog form.
- Chow Chow's can reach an approximate height of around 18 to 22 inches and will weigh approximately 45 to 70 lbs.
- Chow Chow’s coat can come in five colors. Colors include black, blue, red, cinnamon and cream.
- One of the unique features about the Chow Chow’s appearance is that their tongue is a blue-black color.
- The Chow Chow doesn’t need a large yard as they are not a very active dog. In fact, you can even own a Chow Chow if you live in an apartment complex. However, if this is the case then it’s even more important that you take them outdoors daily for a walk and fresh air.
- Chow Chow's have a life span of 9 to 15 years.
- Since Chow Chow dog breeds have thick coat. Daily grooming is required.
