I recently watched the story of Hachiko, it was titled as Hachi: A
dog's tale. Since I'm a dog lover and heard that this was a great movie, I
watched it. So the story is about dog that was supposed to shipped to the right
owner, however the carrier mishandled it and fell in the cargo. Then one man
saw this little puppy so take him to the personnel in the train station, but
the guard didn't accept it because he will just hang around there. By the way
the man who took the dog was a
professor in the agriculture department at the University of Tokyo.
So he was the one who take care and kept as a pet since no one is claiming. As
the days, months, years goes by Hachi take his master to the train station and
also after his masters work Hachi will then go back to the train station to wait for
him. The saddest part is when his master suffers cerebral hemorrhage or stroke and
died. Until that day Hachi waits for him to arrive every single day without
knowing that his master is already dead. I'm just amazed by the story of Hachi which
remembered for his remarkable
loyalty to his owner which continued for many years after his owner's death.
I hope my dogs are like that! Kudos
to you Hachiko!
